Junk Drawer Fun
Everyone has a junk drawer at home, right? This is the drawer that you put odds and ends in-the drawer that holds things you don't know where else to put.
1. Pick out any object in your junk drawer and come up with one way this object could be reinvented for another use.
2. Write about or draw this new invention.
3. Give it a new name.

Squiggle Story
1. Ask someone in your house to draw a squiggly line on a piece of paper.
2. Now, you have only ONE minute to add to this squiggly line and make a picture. But WAIT, you have to use the hand you don't usually draw with!!

Gratitude Jar, Can or Bowl
Finding one (or more!) things to be thankful for every day can help you feel happier!
1. Find a jar, can or bowl. You could use any type of container you find around the house-just make sure you clean it out first.
2. Cut or tear slips of paper that are about 1 inche by 4 inches.
3. Every day, write one thing you are thankful for. Be sure to ask anyone at your house to join you!
4. As you place the strips in your jar/can/bowl, you can take turns with others at your house and say what you wrote.
5. Bonus! Each week, go over the strips again.
6. Repeat daily! See how many things you are thankful for!

Duck or Rabbit?
1. Is it a duck or a rabbit?
2. Look again to see if it looks diferent to you now. What do you think? Duck or rabbit?
3. Look at it one more time. What does it look like now? Did you change your mind?
4. Could it be both?

Melting Ice Game
1. Get a small piece of ice from the freezer. And grab a towel.
2. You're going to pick up a piece of ice and hold it until it melts. It might feel uncomfortable, but it won't hurt you.
3. Before you pick up the ice, notice how you fel. What thoughts are you having? What are you feeling in your body?
4. Now pick up a small piece of ice.
5. If the ice feels uncomfortable, take a few deep breaths and relax your hand and arm. If holding the ice is too hard, don't worry; put it down for a moment then pick it back up and try again.
6. Notice how the ice feels in your hand as it melts. Do you like how it feels? Do you want to drop it?
7. Move the ice from hand to hand. Does the feeling keep changing? What about your thoughts?
8. After the ice melts, describe how the feelings in your hand changed. Did your thoughts change too?
